Dr. Mehak Majeed, Assistant Professor in Economics, Islamic University of Science and Technology, Jammu and Kashmir; and Dr. Zahid Gulzar Rather, Assistant Professor in Economics, Government Degree College, Bijbihara, Jammu and Kashmir, visited the Foundation’s office on Thursday, January 23, 2025, and presented their research findings.
During the visit, Mehak and Zahid were introduced to the various research projects undertaken by the Foundation by Director Sandipan Baksi. The FAS team introduced them to our village studies database from the Project on Agrarian Relations in India (PARI). They also discussed the scope for joint initiatives with the organisation in the future.
We look forward to future research collaborations with them.
