On behalf of the Foundation for Agrarian Studies, Sandipan Baksi, Programme Coordinator of the Foundation, greeted Shri S. Ramachandran Pillai on his 80th birthday. As President of the all India Kisan Sabha, Shri Pillai encouraged and helped to establish the Foundation for Agrarian Studies and has always encouraged its work, particularly the Project on Agrarian Relations in India. The Foundation wishes him many more years of leadership of the kisan, worker, and democratic movements in India.
