Biplab Sarkar, Assistant Professor, PES University, has conducted the first of a series of workshops on “Basic and Advanced Statistics” at the office of the Foundation on June 23, 2017.

He gave a brief introduction and spoke about the basic concepts of Statistics in some detail. It was an interactive session with both the speaker and attendees contributing towards making it an educational and informative experience. A similar follow-up session will be held in the coming weeks using the theoretical knowledge imparted using the R programming language.
