Shruti Nagbhushan presented a brief report on the recently concluded time-use survey in Alabujanahalli village in Maddur taluk, Mandya district, under the project “Women’s Work in Agriculture and Rural Production in India.” This survey marks the end of a series of time-use surveys conducted in two villages in Karnataka.
The results from these surveys will provide a realistic estimate of the contribution of women’s labour in sustaining the household economies in rural India.
We express our thanks to the team, led by Divya Devadiga and Shruti, for the success of the survey. Special thanks are due to Divya, R. Vijayamba, S. Niyati, and Vijay Kumar for being a part of all the 5 time-use survey conducted since May 2017.
