Professor Lee Schlesinger, an eminent anthropologist from the University of Michigan, presented a seminar titled “Change with regard to sex, caste, and mobility” on the November 28, 2016 at the office of the Foundation for Agrarian Studies. He spoke at length on a range of subjects based on his village level studies in the state of Maharashtra. This was followed by a brief discussion on the possibilities of a collaboration between the village level database of the Foundation and the material collected by the Professor over the years.

The Foundation looks forward to further association with Professor Lee Schlesinger.
